Abolición de la monarquía y Procesos Constituyentes ya.

The Spanish people don’t want a Chief of State (J.Carlos de Borbon) chosen by a dictator (Franco). Can anybody imagine a Chief of State in Germany chosen by Hitler?..well, obviously not, but Spain is different, my friend

The truth about Adolfo Suarez

The Spanish regime is trying to sell now the iconic figure of former PM Adolfo Suarez, but the truth is that while democratic people was fighting against General Franco’s reign of terror, Adolfo Suarez was working with the terrorists, becoming one of their bosses. Instead of helping the victims, he helped Franco’s supporters to evade the law after fourty years of armed terrorism, like if nothing happened before. The people who fought against Franco’s barbarism was put in jail (if they weren’t already dead) and when a third of the male dissident population was dead, only then, this now spanish hero helped the spanish nazis evade the law to become all of them valious member of the new Spanish “democracy”.. It was the most amazing flip in spanish political history…one day they were the Spanish nazi fascist who massacred the population during 40 years, the next day they were all democrats gentlemen..

Suárez was chosen by King Juan Carlos (who was chosen by General Franco himself as Chief of State) to organize the country’s first democratic elections after the death of dictator Francisco Franco, everything under the look of the same Army who helped Franco maintain his regime during 40 years. Of course it was a modelic transition for all those spanish fascists who never went to jail no matter how many people they raped, tortured or killed. And yes, Adolfo Suarez was a hero because he was one of those who helped them evade justice and even keep their money and status…we had in Spain the same situation that with Mussolini followers in Italy, Hitler followers in Germany, Petain followers in France etc…din’t we?

Some links, 2 graphs. EZ wage ‘increases’, the rise of the self-employed in the UK and ‘Markets and Morality’ (in Spain)

markets and morality in Spain?…it’s sad, but it sounds like a joke..

Real-World Economics Review Blog

A) Are wage increases in the Eurozone too low? Deflation is especially vicious when debts are high, and low wages contribute to deflation, as the Japanese example shows (check the footnotes and remember that Unit Labour Costs are not a competitivety metric but gauge the contribution of wages to in- or deflation).  Wage increases in the Eurozone are still not low enough to be consistent with a situation of self-perpetuating deflation but the data suggest that the ECB will continue to undershoot its inflation target, people will continue to struggle with their debt load, banks will, as a result, continue to be feeble and unemployment will continue to be high.

B) What the **** happened with the self-employed in the UK?! Carefully reading the ONS spreadsheets it turns out that: Royal Mail plc is included in the private sector from December 2013 but in the public sector for earlier time…

Egypt:more than 500 people sentenced to death by the dictatorship with support of the western “democracies”

Turmoil has deepened since the army overthrew Egypt’s first freely elected president, Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood, in July. Human rights groups said Monday’s verdict suggested the authorities intended to tighten their squeeze on the opposition.

The western media tried to sell the coup d’etat as a popular revolution, but the truth is the country has become a militar dictatorship controlled by the army, with no democracy at all. It seems the elected president and the biggest party of the country didn’t follow the western agenda, so now they are all being condemned to death under very different invented charges. The Muslim Brotherhood, declared a terrorist group by the authorities last December, denounced the sentence as “inhuman, a clear violation of all judical regulations and a new crime of the military coup. “This massive sentence, issued in record time during the second hearing of the trial just two days after it began, raises serious doubts about the Egyptian judicial system, according to organizations like Amnesty International. “Egypt’s courts are quick to punish Mohamed Mursi’s supporters but ignore gross human rights violations by the security forces,” Amnesty International said in a statement.

The criminal court at Minya, south of Cairo, submitted its decision to the country’s mufti – Muslim jurists – and to the high religious authority Shauqi Alam for their non-binding comments on the case.

Sensibilidad química múltiple, o cómo vivir del sufrimiento ajeno

“how much would you pay for staying alive?…that’s right, that’s why your health is our best business..”

The runaway Eurozone current account surplus

Real-World Economics Review Blog

Restraining domestic demand is the policy of choice of the Eurozone. Less domestic demand leads, naturally, to less imports and an increasing surplus (or declining deficit) of the current account. Macr0 101. Which is what happened in the Eurozone. Yes, macro-economics does have some predictive power. Restraining domestic demand in Europe does via the import channel however not only lead to high unemployment and lower incomes in the Eurozone but also to lower income and less production abroad. I can’t imagine that countries like the USA, China or the UK will keep accepting this. Note: it’s not about the level of the surplus (though this is starting to become worryingly high, too, for an economy as large as the Eurozone) but about the considering the size of the Eurozone very fast increase. Imagine what whould have happened when the UK and the USA had pursued comparable policies.

Terrorism or Heroism? Orwell was hailed a hero for fighting in Spain. Today he’d be guilty of terrorism

If George Orwell and Laurie Lee were to return from the Spanish civil war today, they would be arrested under section five of the Terrorism Act 2006. If convicted of fighting abroad with a “political, ideological, religious or racial motive” – a charge they would find hard to contest – they would face a maximum sentence of life in prison. That they were fighting to defend an elected government against a fascist rebellion would have no bearing on the case. They would go down as terrorists.

As it happens, the British government did threaten people leaving the country to join the International Brigades, by reviving the Foreign Enlistment Act of 1870. In 1937 it warned that anyone volunteering to fight in Spain would be “liable on conviction to imprisonment up to two years”. This was consistent with its policy of non-intervention, which even Winston Churchill, initially a supporter, came to see as “an elaborate system of official humbug”. Britain, whose diplomatic service and military command were riddled with fascist sympathisers, helped to block munitions and support for the Republican government, while ignoring Italian and German deployments on Franco’s side. But the act was unworkable, and never used – unlike the Crown Prosecution Service’s far graver threat to British citizens fighting in Syria. In January 16 people were arrested on terror charges after returning from Syria. Seven others are already awaiting trial. Sue Hemming, the CPS head of counter-terrorism, explained last week that “potentially it’s an offence to go out and get involved in a conflict, however loathsome you think the people on the other side are … We will apply the law robustly”. People fighting against forces that run a system of industrialised torture and murder and are systematically destroying entire communities could be banged up for life for their pains. Is this any fairer than imprisoning Orwell would have been?

Jaque a la Monarquía. Procesos Constituyentes

The Spanish Royal Family and their relationship with General Franco’s regime is one of the bigest problems of the Spanish citizens nowdays.
